Come join me for my first ever solo show!
It will be at the Maple Valley Creative Arts Center, opening reception is on March 22nd @ 7pm. Check out their website http://www.maplevalleyarts.com for more information. There will be wine tasting and light refreshments available, and it’s all free!
This show is an eclectic grouping of my work over the last few years. It will include both of my landscape pieces, an assortment of small abstract drawings, two new abstract drawings, and some of the printmaking pieces I have created. All of them are for sale, so don’t miss this opportunity!
The show will go on from March 22nd – April 25th!
It’s been a while since I posted last and I wanted to update you all on what’s going on with my life right now.
Since changing my blog to look more professional, I’ve been working away in the studio and have gotten a bout of strep throat :(. I’m now feeling better and have a renewed vision of my work.
Last Friday I got the opportunity to volunteer at the Art Walk in Issaquah. It was a great experience for me, meeting fellow artists nearby. I also went into ArtEAST’s UpFront Gallery, they have a variety of works there. Ceramics, metal sculptures, prints, paintings, etc. I am seriously considering creating work to put in there. Right now they are accepting small pieces during the summer art walk – so I’d better get hopping!
At the moment I’ve been creating 22 x 30″ works which are very detailed landscapes. I’m thinking of creating smaller versions so I can produce more in a shorter period of time.
I’m going to a critique on the 23rd where I will be asking for feedback on my current work, when I’m ready I will go ahead and post them up on this blog!
Well, that’s it for now! Have a great week everyone – enjoy that sun!
